The Garbage Therapy Sessions: The Tormented Workaholic
As some of you may know, I have the privilege of having BiPolar I disorder. This means I am on the schizophrenic spectrum, and oftentimes- well - hear voices in my head. Don’t we all from time to time.
This is the start of a parallel series to my blog posting that is both therapeutic in nature for me but also content. I have systematically identified eight different voices that torment me from time to time, and this is the first one I present to you.
As the end of the year draws near, a lot of reflection happens, especially at work. I am a computational linguist by trade, and if you have been following large language models in AI world, ChatGPT or Bing Search, you know that the last year has been an absolute jolly ride for those working in the field. It has been revolutionary and exhausting, exciting and anxiety inducing all at the same time.
So enjoy this second series of my blog posting. I am now on a new typewriter setup for my blogging - stay tuned for another blog post about my new setup and how easy it is to manage my “new” vintage Brother typewriter!
